"Absolutely terrible experience. They had one of their representatives reach out to me to switch my home and auto. They tried to force me into a short term life insurance policy and when I said I didn't want it they ended up denying my home insurance. I thought this was a great company but its a scam. I have never spoken to Ashley yet this is she runs her business, appalling. I switched to Runyon Insurance in Sidney and it was the best choice I've ever made. Dont let these guys lie and upcharge you for service you dont need! They may have fooled me and taken advantage of my family but if we spread the word, hopefully we can save the next family."

"Be careful this office fails to update information & your policies will be cancelled without them properly notifying you other than mail that was received after the cancellation. They do have my phone number & email. I unknownly went without insurance on several vehicles for 28 days. Then David blamed me even after Beth said it was in their system but never got updated . I've been with Statefarm insurance for 20+ years my agent retired a few years ago & I was transferred to another (Bob) & he messed up policies , so I transferred to Dave who now is saying I'm the issue. He has never called or apologized for the neglect on his part of not updating the payment method. In response of David's reply He is rude and arrogant He never even called to apologize It was his fault the payment method did not get updated I talked to him and gave him the new credit card number Beth had a record of that in their system no matter what they should have called or emailed me before canceling and still he has not apologized by phone call or ask me to come to his office for a conversation He continues to put the blame on the client so ask yourself this do you really want this person handling your home insurance car insurance life insurance We have multiple policies with State farm and have never had this issue until we transfer to him!!!!! Again David own up to your mistake!!!!"

We take pride in being proactive, but outcomes depend on communication from both sides. "Updated August 30, 2025 Our youngest now has her first apartment on the OSU Campus. Renters insurance was offered by her landlord just off campus. David and Beth not only saved us money but we have better coverage than the other options. Every question I have ever had is always answered immediately and with smiles. There are lots of insurance options out there. We appreciate “our” Agency. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ I have my home, autos, and businesses with David and have been very pleased. Not only is David professional and courteous, his office staff is also. I have some challenging coverage needs, and they have always gotten back to me with competitive rates, and the coverages I truly needed. They don't bother me with endless emails or calls, but are very responsive to me when I call. David is invested in our community and I enjoy doing business with him. Bellefontaine has many good agents to choose from. Take it from me, this guy and his staff are one of the best."
